Incredibly early & rare Smurf drawing original art by the Creator/Master, Peyo. I purchased this online from someone in Belgium. He stated his great grandfather was involved in show business and always dated the back of photos memoribilia he acquired. This sketch was dedicated to him in September 1961 in Brussels, Belgium. At that point in time the Smurfs had only made one guest appearance in a story and appeared in a few backup mini-comics in theFrench comic Spirou.
