Fèves are hand painted, porcelain or ceramic figurines. They are made to be put inside an Epiphany Cake, or King Cake for the "Epiphany" Holiday. Traditionally, a bean was baked in the cake, the person who finds the bean in his or her slice, is king for the day. In more modern times, the bean has been replaced by a ceramic or porcelain figure. The fèves are relatively small at 1 1/4" or less in size. All seen are included. These are so detailed, it's amazing. Notice the size compared to the penny.
